All About Coffee

Coffee is a truly compelling subject, so if you would like to learn about its history, how it is produced and other fascinating facts read on.

We care a great deal about how we trade with coffee farmers and from the letters we receive from our customers it appears that you care too. We’ve a long history of environmental campaigning. Twenty years about we launched our Trees for Life appeal and pledged to plant one million trees around the world. We reached our original target in 1999 and carried on, planting our three millionth tree two years ago. At that point we turned our attention from planting trees to saving them and launched our Yorkshire Rainforest Project. Visit our dedicated site to learn what you can do to help make a real difference both at home and abroad.

If you have any questions or suggestions that we haven’t covered here we’d be delighted to hear from you. Please email us with your queries by using the form in Contact Us

Here we’ve tried to answer all the questions you have about how we buy our coffee.
